Pattan 22 feb 2021:Wussan company commander spent an eventful day with locals of the area. The event was conducted at Iqbal Memorial School, Wussan in which a total of 115 children (75 boys and 40 girls) participated.
Events were as followed
- National Anthem -Beginning of the day was by singing national anthem along with all the students of the school.
- Interaction with students and distribution of brochures
Company commander interacted with students and guided them regarding future studies and also told them importance of Bharat Scouts and Guides in shaping up their personality. - Games– Many games were played with ardent fervour, with students competing hard in Musical chair, bag race, chess, carrom and ball throwing competitions.
- Prize distribution – Prizes were distributed to the winners of the events along with consolation prizes to keep morale of the students high.
- Light refreshments To wind up the day and interact with students light refreshments were served.
The event witnessed a wholehearted participation by the locals where they expressed their gratitude towards Army for conducting such an event which is helpful to strengthen the bond between Awam & Jawan.
